Basic Information

Basic Information

This site provides a configurable Loot Filter for the game Path of Exile II. It primarily designed around immediate identification of items and personal filtering.

Almost nothing is hidden by default, but you can swap a few options to hide things in the ⚙ Configuration section and on individual styles.

Any changes you make are immediately saved, you can clear them at the bottom right of the page and more selectively in the ⚙ Configuration section.

No data is stored server side at all, if you clear your browser's history and cache everything will disappear. Keep your filter's .bak files to be sure you don't lose them. You can also do a full backup in the ⚙ Configuration section.

I'm done with PoE2 for now until endgame gets made less shit, likely nobody is using this so it is unlikely to get updated unless I start playing again.

Filter Limits

Unique items cannot be detected for what they are as they only drop unidentified.

This cannot currently filter for Unidentified Tiers because Loot Filters don't support this (or if they do it is not exposed publicly.)

The site is tested on Firefox and Chrome exclusively, if you are using something else, it might break.

Recent Changes

22nd December 2024

 • Wrote off Path of Exile 2 as a bad job.

Older Changes

19th December 2024

 • Sounds play previews on changing now.

 • Added tiered sections for Catalysts, Distilled Emotions and Omens. Catalysts are comically low value but hey.

17th December 2024

 • Some improvements to saved filter name handling.

 • Fixed an oversight in the always show decorations option.

15th December 2024

 • Improvements to back ups logic, made all elements that users interact with able to be tabbed to.

 • Basic saving and loading system added to support multiple filters across builds or content.

 • Custom sounds can be added on a per basetype basis.

 • Endgame properly structured for the content there, I can add splinter stacks if people really want it.

 • Added a link to a Delirium Anoint Calculator.

14th December 2024

 • Armour pieces with desirable implicits now never drop below A Tier at endgame.

13th December 2024

 • Fixed temporary beam option not writing correct values to filter.

 • Large scale section restructure for later, more saving options.

 • Added options to set your own sections for base types in the styler.

 • Made the styler less shitty looking.

Earlier undated changes

 • Fixed some more basetype matching oversights.

 • Shields added to tiering, you can set different defence type options on them from normal armour pieces.

 • Armour tiers made to compare against exact names instead of fuzzily, this means you will always see top tiers as what they are when their name has a clash.

 • Disable option added for completely disabling filters.

 • Decorators for height and width added.

 • Beam and Icon previews added.

Once and Future Plans

These are probably not getting done unless I go back to PoE2 or someone actually asks me for things done directly.

High Priority

 • Custom rule creation section.

Medium Priority

 • Adding actual weapon tiering.

Low Priority

 • Rule checker and item lookup to see what styles things would use by copying them from in game.

Currency Filters

Basic Currency

Currency has styles based on (assumed) rarity tiers and how useful it is expected to be longer term.

Items are currently never hidden but visibility of things like Whetstones decreases after you are in areas of level 68 or higher.

Wisdom Scrolls

Wisdom scrolls drop off in usefulness during Act 1 but they are still nice to identify things as you go and decide it you want to keep a Magic at the point you aren't wanting to scrap them for transmute shards.

Gold Drops

Gold is styled based on the stack sizes, these are currently fixed but seem to be holding up as practical options. Hiding gold will not stop you auto-looting it when you walk nearby.

Essences

Essences appear from the start of the game so they aren't in the endgame section.

Uncut Gems

Uncut Gems are where you get skill gems, spirit gems and support gems. You probably want to see them dropping.

Mapping Filters

Waystones & Tablets

Waystones are Tier 1 to 15 naturally with Tier 16 from corrupted outcomes.

Precursor Tablets not associated with any content are also grouped here.

Citadel Fragments are used for the fight within The Burning Monolith.

Delirium

Delirium includes Simulacrums, Simulacrum Splinters, Distilled Emotions and Delirium Precursor Tablets.

Ritual

Ritual has styles for Omens, An Audience with the King and Ritual Precursor Tablets.

Omen styles are mostly the same since you will likely see them in a ritual window that doesn't have filtering anyway.

Breach

Breach includes Breach Splinters, Breachstones, Breach Rings, Catalysts and its Precursor Tablets.

Catalysts are identically styled because they are not actually worth anything.

Custom Filters

You can add custom filters here, this has very minimal logic around error checking and will simply warn you if a basetype or class isn't found.

As with other sections, setting opacity to 0 on Text Colour, Border Colour or Background Colour will make it use the default styling of the built in Path of Exile filter.

Gearing

General Status

Weapons, Off-Hands, Shields and Armour are intended to be mostly styled with either Minimisation or Tier Styling rules found in the ⚙ Configuration section. You can style the results of these here if you have turned them on.

Runes

Runes are generically useful socketables that can fix resistances or add other useful properties to items, the power of them is relatively small but you probably want to stock up on them passively regardless.

Flasks & Charms

Life Flasks, Mana Flasks and Charms are here. Flasks and Charms with quality have a tinted background.

Basic Borders

This covers everything with a very basic style.

Items with quality keep their basic styles and get the extra borders.

These styles will be replaced with others if they are encountered sequentially (e.g. Sockets overrides Quality Border, S Tier armour will inherit their border instead).

Minimised Items

If you have turned any reduced visibility options on in the ⚙ Configuration section for equipment classes they will appear as they do here.

This style takes priority over Tier Based Styling below though behaviour can be tweaked in the Configuration section..

Tier Based Styling

Equipment that is outdated for your zone will be de-emphasised while relevant gear will be larger and more prominent.

Armour pieces have slight background tints depending on their defensive make up so you can identify it easier.

Divination Cards

General Status

I have no idea if Divination Cards are even in game at launch or if they are only going to be added as supporters buy packs.

With this in mind, no styling is applied. Later versions of the filter will be grouped via results (including their economic value) to allow for easier filtering by what you would like to actually get from cards.

Unique Items

General Status

Uniques are very likely to have the same issues Path of Exile 1 has both in terms of quality (most are bad) and in terms of filtering (good ones are on bases with bad items).

With that in mind, absolutely no effort is being made to address them in any capacity until the beta is further in. Please enjoy your worthless unique items!
